  • My practice is focused on personal injury matters specialising in Medical mal-practice, insurance claims for and against Insurers, road claims against the Minister of Roads and Road Accident Fund matters;
  • Arbitration of commercial and non-commercial matters;
  • Appearance for doctors and nursing staff at Tribunals and Health Professions Council;
  • My commercial practice includes: Insolvency and Corporate litigation – Sequestrations, liquidations and enquiries, tax and administrative law;

REPORTED JUDGMENTS

  • Investec v Mutemeri 2010 (1) SA 265 (GSJ) – The question of Insolvency proceedings as applicable to the National Credit which is a locus classicus case;
  • Strydom NO v The Master 2010 (6) SA 630 (GNP)
  • ABSA V Keet 2015 (4) SA 474 (SCA) – argued in a quo and setting precedent for question of prescription in vindication claims;
  • Pro Tempo v Vd Merwe 2016 ZASCA 39 – the question of legal duty at schools with minors with learning difficulties;
  • Van Staden v Khumalo & Another (526/2018) [2019] ZASCA 127 (27 September 2019) – extension of vicarious liability;
