He specialises in the fields of property and administrative law, with emphasis on property development, town planning, sectional titles, land claims, expropriation, mineral law, property valuation, environmental law and litigation relating to provincial and local governance.
Brief Curriculum Vitae
Prior to being called to the Bar during 1997 Christiaan served as assistant to the chairman of the National Peace Secretariat (1994) and as registrar to His Lordship Mr Justice Mynhardt (1994). Thereafter he served his articles of clerkship at Hofmeyr Van Der Merwe Inc (1995, 1996). He completed the quick Arbitration Procedure Course by the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa.
