Dominic holds the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce (Information Systems & Law), Bachelor of Laws (Intellectual Property & Taxation) and Master of Commerce in Taxation from Rhodes University and Master of Laws (Innovation, Technology & the Law) (with distinction) from the University of Edinburgh.
Dominic conducts an advisory, arbitration and litigation practice, with a focus on the intersection between technology and the law. Dominic has a particular interest in the areas of construction & engineering, cybersecurity, data protection, information technology, intellectual property, privacy, taxation and trusts. Notwithstanding this focus, Dominic remains available for instructions in relation to traditional and commercial chancery matters.
Dominic was called to the Bar in South Africa in 2011, admitted as an Attorney and Counselor at Law in New York State, U.S., in 2016 and called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn in 2018. He has advised and appeared, alone, led by Silk and leading juniors, in matters involving disputes of up to £1bn.
