Brief Curriculum Vitae
Reenen was called to the Bar in 1985. He has gained extensive experience in litigation and advice in matters before the High Court (of South Africa, Swaziland and Namibia) and before arbitration tribunals, both at first instance and on appeal. This experience includes client representation as well as appointments as arbitrator, commissioner and acting judge of the High Court. A feature of Reenen’s experience has been his involvement in insolvency work (liquidations and business rescue), general commercial work including banking litigation, and commercial and construction arbitrations.
