Prior to joining the Bar, Mashudu served her articles at Smit Jones & Pratt Attorneys in 2014 where she obtained extensive litigation skills with main focus in Banking law, Insolvency law, Consumer law and Debt review. She was enrolled as Attorney of the High Court in 2016.
Shortly after completing her articles, she clerked for the Honourable Judge Gregory Wright at the High Court in Johannesburg.
Mashudu later joined the private sector in 2017, as a compliance officer in compliance and regulatory law at Absa Bank. Her work in the private sector includes specialist support and compliance guidance in respect of applicable regulatory requirements (local and cross-border), drafting compliance policies and standards as well providing advisory services to business stakeholders.
