Prior to joining the Johannesburg Bar in 2024, Mbali was senior associate in the corporate commercial practice at Webber Wentzel. She also previously practiced as an attorney at Hogan Lovells and Werksmans. Her practice as an attorney focused on private and public mergers and acquisitions, private equity, broad-based black economic empowerment transactions, corporate restructuring, corporate finance and general commercial transactions, across a variety of industries.

Mbali has completed her course work towards an LLM with specialization in Corporate Law.
