Eddmond holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of South Africa and Specialised Course in Construction Arbitration Certificate from the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa).
Eddmond conducts an arbitration and litigation practice, with a focus on commercial and family law. Eddmond has a particular interest in the areas of family, banking, cybersecurity, data protection, immigration, labour, administrative and commercial law. Notwithstanding this focus, Eddmond remains available for instructions in relation to a variety of other matters in fields such as local government, indigenous, insolvency, land claims, mining and criminal law (strictly commercial crimes).
Eddmond did his pupillage in Limpopo at the Polokwane Bar in 2017 and was called to the Bar in Johannesburg in 2018. Having previously worked with the Commission for Gender Equality and other institutions supporting democracy, Eddmond has a proclivity for constitutional law and the Bill of Right. He has advised and appeared, alone, led by Silk and leading juniors, in matters involving various disputes in the above disciplines in 4 provinces in the Republic. Eddmond has also chaired and participated in arbitrations in several forums including Bargaining Councils, CCMA and sports boards and commercial arbitrations.
