Nomathemba, prior to being called to the Bar she completed a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Microbiology at the University of Cape Town in 2010. She then spent approximately 7 years working in the Medical Device and In Vitro Diagnostics sector in South Africa. She has held various positions in the sector, from being a laboratory manager for a company which local manufactured laboratory regents and stains for laboratories across South Africa and parts of Africa. She then went into the consulting space as a quality assurance administrator. She assisted companies in this sector with implementing and maintaining quality management systems and complying with the applicable regulations. While working, she completed her LLB degree through the University of South Africa in 2018. She now wants to combine both fields of study in her practice.
