Bridgette joined Legal Aid in 2013 as a candidate attorney and served her articles for 2 years 6 month. Where she obtained extensive litigation skills with a main focus on criminal and civil law.

Shortly after completing her articles Bridgette joined Deloitte and Touché as a legal consultant in 2016 ‘ her area of focus was legislative compliance with the Generally applicable practices of compliance (GAPC) and legislation being the main drive of the role. In this role Bridgette obtained extensive drafting skills’ her focus being on drafting compliance policies’ compliance frameworks and CRMP’s for clients and assisting clients with the implementation of same and also providing training for clients employees and advising clients on the risk of non-compliance .

Bridgette later diverted her focus to Privacy law where (POPIA and GDPR) became the main drivers of her focus area, in this role Bridgette was conducting gap assessments and drafting of privacy standards and privacy policies as well as drafting of legal opinions for organisations.

Bridgette was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2017 while still with Deloitte and Touché

In 2020 she commenced Pupillage and subsequently joined the Johannesburg Bar.
