Mofokeng commenced his career as a Judges’ Associate at the Labour Court. He was an Associate to a number of Judges including Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, Judge President Pule Tlaletsi, Judge President Chiman Patel and Judge Graham Moshoana. Mofokeng then went to do his articles at one of the oldest law firm in Africa where he ended up practising as a Senior Associate in the labour and commercial law department. Later on, Mofokeng joined one of the leading commercial law firm based in Sandton where he specialised in corporate and commercial law. Mofokeng joined the Johannesburg Bar in 2014.
