Lungile completed her LLB at the University of Pretoria in 2014. Between 2019 and 2020, also at the University of Pretoria, she read for her LLM in Mercantile Law on a part-time basis majoring in contract law, banking law and competition law. During 2019, Lungile completed an Advance Certificate of Competence in Company Law at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Before being called to the Bar, Lungile practiced as an Attorney (admitted in 2017) as well as a Notary Public (admitted in 2018) in a medium sized law firm rooted in Pretoria and later at an established Sandton branch. At the time of her departure from the Attorneys’ profession with at least 6 years’ worth of experience, Lungile was a Senior Associate in the Commercial Litigation, Employment and Public Law Department.

Her arears of practice and interest at the Bar include general and commercial litigation, banking law and foreclosures, company law, insolvency law, constitutional and administrative law and employment law.
