Conflict of Laws

Conflict of laws (or Private International Law as they are sometimes called) refers to the problems Courts face when a dispute has connections to two or more state or countries. In resolution of such cases, Courts apply ‘choice of law’ rules to determine which jurisdiction’s substantive law apply to the case.
